After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up at 09:30 for a full-day Green Tour to visit the less popular but very impressive part of Cappadocia.

During this tour, you will visit the Kaymakli Underground City, where the natives of Cappadocia have lived for thousands of years and hid in times of danger. Then, you will go to the Soganli Valley of Churches to see Byzantine rock-cut churches in different styles decorated with frescoes, table-top mountains and hospitable locals selling their special homemade dolls in the natural countryside. You will have lunch in a cave setting before visiting Sobessos, the archaeological site of a newly discovered early Byzantine town with mosaics in the bathhouse and church.

You will continue to the Taskinpasa Madrasah, where the surviving gate has beautiful examples of 14th century stone art, then to the Keslik Monastery, where the frescoes are hidden behind a very thin layer of smoke and are best seen by torchlight. Your tour ends with a visit to Mustafapaşa/Sinasos, an ancient Greek town with magnificent old Greek houses and beautiful examples of late Greek architecture.

At the end of the day you will be transferred to your hotel.
